BUSHFIRE GAMES / NUNCHOOKS
Terms of Use.
Effective date: 21 October 2026.
These terms are provided by Jack Arnold, trading as Bushfire Games, based in Yugar, Queensland, Australia. They cover the Bushfire Games and Nunchooks websites and Nunchooks: Way of the Warrior Hen (the game), including demos and playtest builds we provide.

1. These terms and store terms
These terms explain the permissions we offer and the conditions on those permissions. Any contractual obligations apply where these terms form part of an agreement with you; the presence of a footer link alone does not mean you have accepted a new contract.
If you get the game through the Meta Horizon Store or another authorised store, that store's applicable purchase, account and platform terms also apply. These terms do not replace your store agreement or reduce any rights you already have under it or under the law.
Players must meet the game's applicable age rating and the platform's eligibility requirements. A child should have a parent or guardian's involvement and permission where required by the platform or applicable law.
2. Playing the game
When you lawfully obtain the game, we give you a non-exclusive licence to install and play it for personal entertainment, subject to your store entitlement and any applicable platform sharing rules. You may also make and share gameplay content as described below.
You do not acquire ownership of the game's code or other underlying materials. Do not sell or redistribute copies of the game, distribute extracted assets as a separate product, or bypass purchase and access controls. This does not restrict activities permitted by law, including any applicable rights concerning interoperability, accessibility, repair or lawful reverse engineering.
4. Demos, playtests and feedback
A build clearly labelled as a demo, preview or playtest is unfinished. It may contain bugs, missing features or changing content. Saves may be incompatible with later builds. Any access period or device requirements will be stated when the build is offered.
Do not redistribute a non-public build or another person's access key. A confidentiality restriction on screenshots or footage applies only if it is clearly disclosed and separately agreed before access; these terms do not automatically make every playtest confidential.
Feedback is voluntary. If you send suggestions or bug reports, you allow us to use those suggestions to improve the game without an obligation to pay you. This does not transfer ownership of unrelated work you send or change how we handle personal information.
5. Safe and lawful use
Follow your headset manufacturer's safety guidance, use a suitable clear play area, and take a break if you feel discomfort. Do not use our websites or software to distribute malware, interfere with their operation, infringe others' rights, or access systems without permission.
These safety reminders do not waive your rights or release us from responsibility imposed by law.
6. Purchases, refunds and consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law. You may also have mandatory rights under the law where you live.
Australian consumer guarantees can entitle you to a repair, replacement or refund, and compensation in applicable circumstances. Your entitlement depends on the nature of the problem and the law that applies. We do not impose a blanket no-refunds policy.
For a store purchase, you can use that store's refund process. You can also email gday@nunchooks.com for support or a consumer-rights claim. A store's voluntary refund window does not remove any additional statutory rights.
For more information, see the ACCC's guidance on consumer rights and guarantees.
7. Development and updates
Development news, concept art and previews describe work in progress. Features and release plans may change. This does not excuse misleading descriptions, remove commitments made when you purchase, or reduce your consumer rights.
We may release fixes and improvements. We do not promise every suggested feature or indefinite support for every device. Any changes remain subject to applicable law and the terms under which the game was supplied.
8. Privacy and external services
Our Privacy Policy explains game data, optional crash reporting, website visits, enquiries and deletion requests. Accepting these terms does not opt you into newsletters or optional crash reporting; those choices are handled separately.
Links to stores, social platforms and other external services take you to services governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
9. Responsibility and resolving problems
Each party remains responsible for its actions to the extent required by applicable law. These terms do not impose an indemnity on you, exclude our responsibility for all faults, or cap remedies you are legally entitled to receive.
If a problem arises, please email us with the relevant details so we can try to resolve it. Contacting us first is encouraged, but it is not a condition that prevents you from using a store's process, contacting a regulator or exercising a legal remedy.
10. Changes and applicable law
We may update these terms and will publish the updated date on this page. We will bring material changes to your attention and seek agreement where required. An update does not retrospectively remove rights attached to an existing purchase or require acceptance merely because you revisit a website.
To the extent permitted by law, these terms are governed by Queensland, Australia law, with non-exclusive jurisdiction in Queensland courts. This does not override mandatory protections or any right to bring proceedings where you live.
If a provision cannot lawfully be enforced, it will apply only to the extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions will continue to apply where possible.
